Vista On Diet (Vista ကို ဝိတ္ေလွ်ာ့မယ္)

Vista ကို အိမ္မွာသံုးသူေတႊအတြက္(အထူးသျဖင့္ ျမန္မာျပည္) မလိုအပ္တဲ့ Services ေတြကို ေလွ်ာ့ခ်လို႔ရပါတယ္။ ကၽႊန္ေတာ္စမ္းၾကည့္တာ Idle မွာ Memory 1.2 GB ေလာက္ ေနရာယူတာကေန 980 MB ေလာက္ထိ ေလွ်ာ့သြားပါတယ္။ လုပ္ကိုင္ရတာ လြယ္ပါတယ္။ ပထမဆံုး Control Panel ထဲက Programs and features ကိုဖြင့္လိုက္ပါ။ XP က Uninstall နဲ႔ဆင္ပါတယ္။ အဲဒီမွာ ဘယ္ဖက္ Pane မွာ Turn Windows features on or off ဆိုတာေလးကို ႏွိပ္လိုက္ပါ။

ထို႔ေနာက္ ဒီ Windows ေလးေပၚလာပါလိမ့္မယ္။

အကယ္၍ ကိုယ္က Windows Games ေတြကို ကစားတဲ့ အက်င့္မရွိဘူးဆိုရင္ Games လို႔ေဘးနားက ေပၚေနတဲ့ အမွန္ျခစ္ေလးကို ျဖဳတ္ေပးလိုက္ရုံပါပဲ။ ကုိယ္ျဖဳတ္ခ်င္တဲ့ ဟာေတြကို ဒီလိုေလးလိုက္လုပ္ေပးရံုပါပဲ။
ေနာက္ၿပီးေတာ့ Print Services ဆိုတာ ျဖဳတ္ႏိုင္ပါတယ္။ Local Printing (Printer ကို မိမိကြန္ပ်ဳတာႏွင့္ တိုက္ရိုက္ခ်ိတ္၍ သံုးျခင္း) ကို မထိခိုက္ပါဘူး။ Print Services ေအာက္မွာမွ မိမိက တစ္ခုထဲပဲအသံုးလိုတယ္ဆိုရင္လဲ Print Services ေဘးနားက Drop Down Menu ေဖၚတဲ့ + Sign ေလးကို ႏွိပ္ေပးလိုက္ပါ။ သံုးခုထပ္ေပၚလာပါလိမ့္မယ္။ အဲဒီထဲက Internet Printing Client ကေတာ့ Internet ေပၚကေန Print ထုတ္ေပးခ်င္ရင္ လိုပါလိမ့္မယ္ (ျမန္မာျပည္မွာမွ မသံုးတာတတ္ပါ)။ ဒါေပမဲ့ ဒီဟာက Lan ေပၚမွာ Printing Server ကို Share သံုးမယ္ဆိုရင္ေတာ့ လိုပါလိမ့္မယ္။
LPD Print Service ကေတာ့ Unix စက္ေတြကို Windows တင္ထားတဲ့ စက္ရဲ့ Printer ကေန ထုတ္ခ်င္တယ္ဆိုရင္ လိုပါလိမ့္မယ္။ ျမန္မာျပည္မွာ Unix သံုးမယ္လိုေတာ့ မထင္ပါ။
LPR Port Monitor ကေတာ့ LPD ရဲ့ ေျပာင္းျပန္ပါ။ Windows ကေန Unix Print Server ကိုလွမ္းသံုးခ်င္ရင္ပါ။
Remote Differential Compression ကေတာ့ Network မသံုးတဲ့ PC အေတြသိပ္မလိုပါဘူး။ သူကဘာလုပ္လဲဆိုေတာ့ Network ေပၚမွာ Files ေတြ Share သံုးရင္ Local နဲ႔ Remote ေပၚမွာရွိတဲ့ File’s Check Sum Size တူႏွစ္ခုကို ဘာကြာလဲ ယွဥ္ၿပီး ကြာတဲ့ အပိုင္းကိုပဲ ပို႔တာပါ။ Bandwidth ကို Save လုပ္ႏိုင္တာေပါ့။ Data အျပန္အလွန္ ခဏခဏ ပို႔တတ္တဲ့ Network ေတြဆိုရင္ သံုးတင့္ပါတယ္။
